New Musical Project

“What You Are”, the second demo from a musical I’m writing, has been released online! This duet features vocalists Mario Jose and Jenna Kalista with a beautiful orchestra arrangement by Harlan Hodges. I think of this new project as jazz improvisation meets contemporary musical. Members of Socrates’ Trial are featured throughout the work and help tell the story along with lyrics. This is my first time writing lyrics and needless to say I’m discovering how difficult it can be to put into words what I normally would try to communicate through the instrument. Storyline is coming together and some exciting announcements will be made soon regarding the next stage of production!
